Graduate Certificates

About the Program

A graduate certificate is an educational credential representing completion of specialized course at the university level. Certificates provide useful skills and knowledge about a subject area at a more basic level and does not result in a degree. SMSU offers certificates in these areas:

Please keep in mind any of these certificates do lead to a master’s degree as long as the courses are applied within the seven (7) year time limit.

Cost & Financial Aid

Program Requirements:

You are required to have a 3.0 GPA for admission into the program. If your GPA is under the requirement, you may still qualify for provisional admission through demonstrating your skills and abilities within your application. Provisional admission does require students to attain a 3.0 GPA in their first semester.
