Distance Learning provides regional students the opportunity to obtain their bachelor’s degrees at a variety of off-campus locations. SMSU has formed exclusive partnerships with many community and technical colleges in the state giving their graduates the opportunity to continue their education toward a baccalaureate while attending classes at their local community or technical college location. SMSU classes are delivered via online coursework. Technical and community college classes are delivered via ITV, online, classroom, and a hybrid of classroom and online coursework. Students do not have to travel to the SMSU campus in Marshall, Minn., unless they wish to participate in graduation ceremonies. |
SMSU has Associate to Bachelor Degree Programs in: Students must complete an AS or AAS degree from an approved Minnesota Technical and Community College to enter a program. Students admitted to a program may take classes from their local community college and SMSU simultaneously. |
