Charge: This is a committee of faculty and administration who will review all university research activities involving human or animal participants to ensure that it is being conducted ethically. The Institutional Review Board is composed of one (non-voting) dean; three SMSUFA members that include one science faculty; and one MAPE, AFSCME, or MSUAASF member.
