Thanks to the generosity of our Culinology and Hospitality Management Advisory Board, we are able to offer students majoring in Culinology or Hospitality Management a multitude of scholarships. These awards range from $200 to $2,700, and recipients are eligible to reapply each year, up to a maximum of four years. In addition, there are various organizations that offer academic scholarships for students pursuing a major in Culinology, Hospitality Management, or Culinary Arts. These scholarships provide gift assistance to academically talented students and assist them in financing their educational expenses. Culinology and Hospitality Management Advisory Board Scholarships
Thanks to the generosity of the Advisory Board, and there are multiple scholarships available to students majoring in either Culinology or Hospitality Management. The criteria for each of the scholarship are: major, minimum 2.5 GPA, academic achievements, research projects and extracurricular activities. 

David and Cecelia Danahar Endowed Scholarship 
The Danahars are true friends and avid supporters of the Culinology and Hospitality Management program. It was President Danahar's vision that led to the creation and growth of these academic programs since 2005. We are very fortunate to have an endowment from Dr David Danahar and Cecelia Danahar for the establishment of this scholarship. The criteria for this scholarship are:

* Culinology major
* Minimum of senior standing
* Enrolled as a full-time student
* Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in all SMSU coursework
* Demonstrated academic and leadership qualities

Culinology and Hospitality Management Advisory Board, Alumni, and Friends Endowed Scholarship - $675 annually
From the very beginning, the Culinology and Hospitality Management programs have been guided by a committed and visionary industry Advisory Board. The members of the Advisory Board represent various Fortune 500 companies. Over the years, the membership of the Board have changed, but one thing has remained constant - the desire to establish SMSU's Culinology and Hospitality Management programs to be among the best, if not THE BEST, in the United States and abroad. The criteria for this scholarship are:

* Culinology or Hospitality Management major
* Enrolled as a full-time student
* Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 in all SMSU coursework
* Demonstrated passion and work ethics for the hospitality industry
