Health Careers Day at SMSU March 25

A Health Careers Day will be hosted by Southwest Minnesota State University on March 25.

Presentations by members of various health care professions will be available for high school juniors and seniors and college students considering a career in a health-related field.

Two concurrent sessions will run from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Those interested may register in front of Charter Hall 201 on campus.

Session 1, Charter Hall 201: 9:30 a.m.: Optometrist; 10 a.m.; Physical therapist; 10:30 a.m.: Speech pathologist; 11 a.m.: Occupational therapist; 11:30 a.m.: Dentist; Noon: Lunch; 1 p.m.: Physician assistant; 1:30 p.m.: Chiropractor.

Session 2, Charter Hall 217: 9:30 a.m.: Registered nurse; 10 a.m.: Registered dietician; 10:30 a.m.: Veterinarian; 11 a.m.: EMT; 11:30 a.m.: Physician; Noon: Lunch; 1 p.m.: Pharmacist; 1:30 p.m.: Respiratory therapist.
