Gittens Presentation March 31, April 1

Southwest Minnesota State University Professor of History Dr. Joan Gittens will give two presentations on “A Call for Peace: The International Women’s Congress of 1915,” on Tuesday, March 31 at 6:30 p.m. at the Marshall Lyon County Library and again on Wednesday, April 1 at noon at the William Whipple Gallery on the SMSU campus.

Her talks are part of the Remember the Great War: A World War I Commemoration series.

Both are free and open to the public. They are sponsored by the SMSU McFarland Library and the Marshall-Lyon County Library.

The Whipple Gallery is located within the SMSU McFarland Library at SMSU.
