Southwest Minnesota State University is offering a Master of Science in Education with a Technology for Training and Learning Emphasis/Certificate. The Technology for Training and Learning Emphasis/Certificate is appropriate for teachers who want to integrate technology into their teaching approach, as well as for students going into the business sector who want to employ technology into their management strategy.
This emphasis/certificate allows student to attain depth in the use of technology in learning and training environments. Students will gain experience in various technologies such as video, graphics, and collaboration software, learning management systems, presentation technology, and videoconferencing. Best practices in these areas as applied to training and learning will be explored through the use of practical exercises, assignments, and research projects. All courses in this Emphasis will be offered as online, either during the fall/spring semesters or during the summer.
