Annual Tree of Hope Event Aims to Provide Holiday Gifts for Area Children

Posted from Tuesday, November 19, 2019 through Sunday, December 15, 2019

The Non-Traditional Students Association is once again working with United Community Action to sponsor the Tree of Hope event aimed at providing holiday gifts for area children.

As in previous years, a tree decorated with cards bearing the first names and ages of children will be set up outside of the Deans' office located at Bellows Academic 268.

Those planning to participate should select one or more cards from the tree, purchase one gift per child, wrap each gift separately and bring them to the Deans' office no later than 4:30pm on Monday, December 16.

All gifts should be age appropriate, new, and in the original packaging. The suggested price range is from $10 to $20. Contact Dr. Rick Herder, richard.herder@SMSU.edu, faculty advisor to NTSO, with any questions.
