Thank you!

Provost Weatherby, HLC Self-Study Coordinator Dr. Lori Baker, and I would like to thank each and every one of you for helping with our comprehensive visit by the HLC Peer Review Team. While we will not receive official notice of the outcome until the review team submits its report at the end of the semester, please know that the team members were impressed by the dedicated faculty, staff, community members, and students with whom they met. They praised SMSU as an institution to be proud of and appreciated the effort that went into preparing and being involved in the visit.

It is clear to us that the visit would not have gone as well as it did without the hard work and involvement of the full University community, not only during these past three days but in the years leading up to the review. The review process has truly been a collaborative effort and an opportunity for learning from each other as well as from the HLC team members. We have accomplished much over the past ten years and look forward to building upon the work of the self-study and the team’s recommendations for the future.

Thank you for your tremendous support. Remember, WE are SMSU!
