This link will take you to Purdue University's online tutoring. Tutors are available to answer questions via email. Read through the policy and click on the link at the bottom of the page to email a tutor.


Internet Citation Guides

This site provides an overview of acceptable internet sources for citing. These links include sites about APA (American Psychological Association),MLA (Modern Language Association), CBE (Council of Biology Editors), Chicago, Turabian,as well as others.

MLA Citation at

This site provides an outline for MLA citing of several sources such as books, online newspaper articles, interviews, etc. Simply choose the type of document you would like to cite, fill in the blank spaces provided and submit to view the citation. Then you can cut and paste the citation onto your document. Remember, though, that underlining and indentation are lost in the cut/paste process.

This is the Merriam-Webster dictionary/thesaurus webpage. Look up definitions, discover new words, listen to pronunciations, expand your vocabulary by learning the word of the day, and more.

Writing Resources

This is a part of the National Writing Center Association webpage. It provides a wide variety of links to sites dealing issues pertinent to creative writing such as punctuation, citation, and grammar. It also contains links to Webster's Dictionary and Roget's Thesaurus.
