The Minnesota Student Veterans Conference will be held Friday, March 22 from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at Metropolitan State University in St. Paul.
The event is a statewide conference for past and current students to address topics students and service members face today.
Topics will include employment and education benefits, physical and mental health resources, women's topics, financial planning, resume-building, LGBT concerns and massage therapy services. There will be a community resource table and a women's veterans visual exhibit, as well.
The event is free, with a light breakfast and lunch provided.

Southwest Minnesota State University (Marshall, Minn.) students have been honored for achievement during the 2016 spring semester of study.
SMSU will host a number of atheltic camps this summer.
