Orientation and move-in day is yet to be determined for the 2019 summer session. Students will live in the dorms at SMSU during the summer session, Monday through Friday, and will go home for the weekends. However, students living in Marshall are provided with the option of sleeping at their homes during the week, given they have reliable transportation to the university to participate in the academic work and other educational activities throughout the Summer Session. Classes and activities will start on during the first week of June (TBD). During the summer session, Upward Bound students will have opportunities to participate in college visits, museum tours, historical site visits, and overnight hotel stays.
