Each application for admission is reviewed individually, looking at the whole person. We consider GPA, high school rank, test scores, curriculum and other academic indicators. Extra-curricular activities can be considered. Personal statements and recommendations are optional and will be considered if submitted.
Instructions for On-Campus Freshmen
- Complete the Application for Admission
- Self-Report Your Academic Credentials OR Send Official High School Transcript(s) to Admission@SMSU.edu.
- Submit Scores from the ACT (code #2151) or the SAT (code #6703) - Optional
- Submit a $20 Non-Refundable Application Fee (or Contact the Admission Office for a Promo Code!)
