About the Online M.S. Cybersecurity Program

The School of Graduate Studies offers an ONLINE  Master of Science (MS) in Cybersecurity. This innovative master's program requires no computer science or related degree, but it will engage students in an extensive 30 credit hour curriculum that covers everything from writing high-quality secure software, to integrating security into corporate information systems. To prepare for this program, students should familiarize themselves with fundamental programming and computer networking concepts using readily available online educational resources.

SMSU has made application to our accrediting agency, the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), for approval of the M.S. in Cybersecurity program. The program is currently awaiting formal HLC approval.
