Healthcare Administration Emphasis

The Healthcare Administration emphasis provides students with a fundamental understanding of leading a variety of healthcare organizations. The required courses ensure an understanding of the entire operational process within healthcare entities, including operations, revenue cycle, legal compliance, and patient care. Furthermore, students will have a solid understanding of coping with change and developing successful operational practices. The elective courses then allow students to focus their interests on specific components of healthcare administration. The curriculum aligns with the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM) and industry best practices.
