School of Graduate Studies Admission Policy
Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to establish clear, fair, and transparent guidelines for admitting students into graduate programs. It ensures compliance with institutional standards, legal requirements, and promotes academic excellence.
Scope
This policy applies to all graduate programs offered by the institution.
Eligibility Criteria
· Applicants must hold an accredited bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
· Minimum GPA requirement: 2.5-3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) based on academic program applicant is applying to.
· Proof of English proficiency for non-native speakers (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS).
Application Requirements
· Completed application form.
· Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended.
· Statement of Purpose outlining academic and career goals if GPA does not meet program requirement.
· Letters of recommendation (minimum of two) if GPA does not meet program requirement.
Communication & Timelines
Applicants will be informed of admission decisions in writing through email. A decision will be made within 24-48 hours after receiving all admission requirements.
