17th Annual Fine Arts Celebration

The 17th Annual SMSU Fine Arts Celebration returns March 28 through May 5. The celebration features creative works from the Fine Arts and Communication Department and the Creative Writing Program.

“We are really excited about our schedule of events this year,” said Dr. John Ginocchio, chair of the Fine Arts and Communication Department, Director of Bands at SMSU and the event coordinator. “The variety really showcases our fine arts programs at SMSU.”

This year’s celebration provides programming from vocal and instrumental ensembles, exhibits, panel discussions, main stage theatre, readings, recitals, and more.

“There’s a wide variety of events planned throughout the duration of the celebration,” said Ginocchio. “Most of the events are free of charge, also, and we invite the public to participate.”
