Voting Rights Act: Information Session

When:
Wednesday, Jan 19, 2022
Description:
The MLK Day of Service events have been cancelled in response to a request made by the King family to not hold MLK celebrations without the passage of the Voting Rights Act. The Office of Diversity and Inclusion and the MLK Planning Committee are honoring the wishes of the family, and Dr. King’s dream of ensuring that everyone has the right to vote. We are providing tabling and an information session on the Voting Rights Act and the US Constitution as well as information on how students can register to vote with the help of Campus Compact and student organizations. Please contact the Dr. Erin Kline at erin.kline@smsu.edu with questions.
