Announcing one more SMSU performance of Professor Nadine Purvis Schmidt's sabbatical project, the one-person show Apples in Winter, on Wednesday, January 14, at 7:30 pm in the SMSU Black Box Theatre (FA 112).
There is no admission charge, and seating is limited. If you missed the performances in September, we hope you can make this one!
Nadine is doing one more show here to prepare for one of the following weeks at the Region 5 American College Theatre Festival.
In this play, Miriam is making an apple pie for her son. Years ago, he committed a horrible crime and has been on death row ever since. In the waning hours before the end comes, he is granted a last meal.
This is a play about monsters and the mothers of monsters. And about how we care for each other. And about how to make a really good apple pie.
This production of Apples in Winter by Jennifer Fawcett is produced by TheatreMidwest.
