Fresh Check Day - November 5

SMSU Mental Health Counseling Center, along with the help of campus clubs and organizations, is hosting Fresh Check Day on Wednesday, November 5, in the Upper Conference Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Fresh Check Day, a program of the Jordan Porco Foundation, is an uplifting mental health promotion and suicide prevention event for colleges that includes interactive booths, peer-to-peer messaging, support of multiple campus departments and groups, free snacks, entertainment and exciting prizes and giveaways. Fresh Check Day aims to create an approachable, hopeful atmosphere where students are encouraged to engage in dialogue about mental health and to help build a bridge between students and the mental health resources available on campus, in the community, and nationally.
