I would have struggled without that flexibility as I am a non-traditional student who is also a wife, mother of four, and worked full time while completing my degree. Stephen Funk, a recent graduate of our Master's in Education Learning Community, receives national recognition for his work in vocational agriculture at Park Rapids High School.

Today, we had a cool moment for our program, our school, and our community. Coming to Park Rapids and restarting the program in 2019, I don't think anyone could have predicted how quickly this would grow, even in the midst of COVID-19 changing so many things.

Amber Seibert and Ashley Schmitz coming on board created the dream team that launched us to new heights. I am proud to call them my colleagues and friends.

What an amazing recognition for all of the people in our school and community who had a hand in helping us grow. It all comes back to the students, and I couldn't be more proud to be a teacher and advisor in District 309. Go Panthers!!!
