SMSU Athletics and Mustang Market Partner for Saturday Home Basketball Games

MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University Athletics Department and the Mustang Market are partnering for a special promotion during the SMSU men's and women's basketball games versus Wayne State College on Saturday, December 6. SMSU Athletics will be collecting jars of peanut butter and winter coats for the Mustang Market to help keep our Mustang community warm this winter season. Fans who bring two jars of peanut butter OR a winter coat will receive one FREE ticket to the basketball games (limit one free ticket per household). The men's game begins at 2:00 p.m., followed by the women's game at 4:00 p.m. The Mustang Market is SMSU's permanent food and resource pantry, located in Bellows Academic 154 on the SMSU campus. The market is open on Thursdays from noon to 7:00 p.m. All food and supplies are free to the on- and off-campus community for those seeking the resources the Mustang Market can offer.
