SMSU offers several free resources to support students' basic needs, mental health, and overall well-being. Single Stop, available through the Mantra Care Hub, connects students with federal, state, and local assistance programs for food, healthcare, financial assistance, and other needs. Most screenings take about 15 minutes and include an interactive directory of local support services and community resources.
SMSU also partners with Mantra Health to provide free mental health support for enrolled students, including individual therapy, Self Care, coaching, Togetherall Peer Support, ConnectNow, and 24/7 crisis support. ConnectNow offers in-the-moment support with mental health professionals via video or text from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. CT and by phone 24/7. Crisis support is available at (888) 354-2952.
Students who may benefit from additional support are encouraged to go to Single Stop or the Mantra Care Hub at mantrahealth.com/smsu.
