Tree of Hope Event Aims to Gather Holiday Gifts for Area Children

Posted from Wednesday, November 17, 2021 through Thursday, December 16, 2021

The Nontraditional Students Association is once again working with United Community Action Partnership to sponsor the Tree of Hope event aimed at gathering holiday gifts for area children.

As in previous years (pre-Covid-19), a Christmas tree decorated with cards bearing the first names and ages of children will be set up outside of the Deans' office in Bellows Academic (BA). Those planning to participate should select one or more cards from the tree, purchase one gift per child, wrap each gift separately and bring them to the Deans' office no later than December 16.

All gifts should be age appropriate, new, and in the original packaging. The suggested price range is from $10 to $20. Contact Dr. Rick Herder, faculty advisor to NTSO, with any questions.
