How to Apply to a Graduate Program

Fast Track Admission

If you currently meet the program GPA requirements linked below, you can apply through the Fast Track Process by submitting the following:

$30 Application Fee (Pay on E-Services) (Non-Refundable)
Official transcript from an accredited college or university stating that a bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) has been completed. If you attended a Minnesota State College or University, SMSU should be able to view your transcript without you having to request one to be sent.
- **International Students, please submit an evaluation of your transcripts from The Evaluation Company (formerly SpanTran, NOW offers a student discount), WES, and ECE so that we can calculate your degree and GPA.

If you fall below the GPA requirements, don't worry, you can still be considered for admission to the program by submitting the following items:

Master of Business Administration requires a bachelor's degree with a 3.0 GPA or a GMAT score of 450 or higher.
M.S. in Education requires a bachelor's degree with a 3.0 GPA.
M.S. in Special Education requires a bachelor's degree with a 3.0 GPA.
M.S. in Physical Education requires a bachelor's degree with a 2.5 GPA.
M.S. in Cybersecurity requires a bachelor's degree with a 2.75 GPA.
M.S. in Nursing, Nurse Educator requires a bachelor's degree with a 3.0 GPA.
Educational Administration & Leadership requires a master's degree with a 3.0 GPA.
Licensure & Certificates require a bachelor's degree with a 3.0 GPA.
