Culinology combines food science with culinary arts in a unique hands-on program. SMSU has the only bachelor of science in Culinology program in the country. That’s right. The entire country. It’s the first, the original, and the leader in Culinology. Our students develop their knowledge of taste and texture, and combine it with scientific methods to produce nutritious convenience foods that are on par with the restaurant-quality version.

Careers in Culinology include positions in research and development, culinary research, food technologist, product development, corporate chefs, and product formulations chefs.
