SMSU Aspiring Educators Academy

June 9-13th

Explore career opportunities in education with our summer academy for aspiring educators. Attendees will participate in a variety of different activities over the course of five days to grow and develop as a future educator.

An opening Zoom session to Summer Session will allow academy attendees to register for the SMSU course: ED 312 - Human Relations for Teachers and to begin to build community with other learners. The learning will start with activities that will be completed online prior to the academy start. Academy activities and learning will cover many of the requirements for the course with some additional work to be finalized online after the academy ends.

Participants will stay on-campus, in the Residence Halls, working in cohorts for the duration of the academy.

I'm interested!
