The RN to BSN Job Placement ELA is 90% of RN to BSN graduates will report employment in a position as a Registered Nurse within 12 months of graduation.

The RN to BSN EOPSLOs are decided by the Department of Nursing faculty and are learner-oriented expectations. The outcomes express the knowledge, skills, or behaviors that RN to BSN students should be able to demonstrate upon completion of the program. The EOPSLO outcomes provide a framework for all curricular components and represent the change from student entry-level practitioner to the BSN-prepared level.

The MSN program at SMSU uses various summative direct outcomes assessment methods to evaluate EOPSLOs and the New Age Nurse Educator Competencies (NANECs). Faculty have integrated the NANECs with the EOPSLOs for summative data collection and analysis.
