Financial Aid

Graduate school is meant to be affordable so don't panic if you're not sure you can pay for it. As a graduate student, you qualify for Stafford loans (usually unsubsidized). Make sure you fill out your FAFSA on time in order to qualify for these loans. Click here for more information about the FAFSA.

Most graduate schools will offer teaching or graduate assistantships, which help to pay for graduate schools. Many will pay for full or partial tuition and will give you a monthly stipend to help with expenses. Make sure you check whether you need to separately apply for an assistantship or if you’re automatically considered when you apply to the school.
