Pirates, mermaids, a mysterious trunk, and a desert island - the stuff adventures are made of!  With creativity and imagination, a group of versatile actors portray dozens of characters to spin the thrilling tale of an orphan boy on his way to becoming Peter Pan.

Tickets will be available to purchase starting Monday, August 24, at the start of our fall semester.

BOX OFFICE HOURS.  The Box Office opens one (1) hour prior to each performance.  Visit www.SMSUTickets.com to confirm any sold out performances. 

Dinner $22

Dinner is available as an optional add-on to the performance with advance reservations only (5 days minimum).  Limited seats are available, so early reservations are strongly encouraged.  Don't miss out!!  For reservations, visit www.SMSUTickets.com, or call (507) 537-7103.  Check-in for dinner is between 5:45 - 6:15 p.m.  The Student Hospitality Organization (SHO) Club creates, prepares and hosts a specially-prepared three-course menu for your enjoyment before the theatre performance.

The information on this page will reflect the latest updates from SMSU Administration in coordination with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and is subject to frequent changes.  Please check this page, or contact Diana.Holmes@smsu.edu with questions.  In anticipation of the resumption of university activities and to safeguard customers and employees, our safety plan is to observe the following practices.  We will attempt to accommodate personal health precautions with a minimum notice of 72-hours, but cannot guarantee all accommodations.

Contactless Tickets and Sales.  Online ticket reservations are strongly encouraged.  We will use e-Tickets to help reduce the lines at the Box Office.  Please use the e-ticket(s) as provided with your reservation and present to the usher upon entrance to the Fine Arts Theatre.

*Dinner Theatre is subject to changes and dates are tentative.  The dining facility is also subject to 50% capacity.

Social Distancing at 50% allows for seating of 150 and will be observed for the Fine Arts Theatre.  We will use physical distancing markers on the floor to mark safe social distancing for the Box Office, Theatre Lobby, and Fine Arts Theatre.  In addition, every other row will be blocked.  While group seating may be allowed for a reservation, each reservation will be distanced by up to 3 seats. 

Face Masks are Required!  Safety is our top priority.  To safeguard the health of our students and community, face masks are required on the SMSU campus.

Sanitizing and Disinfecting Practices.  Sanitizers and facial tissues will be available throughout the lobby. In addition, the theatre, lobby and restrooms will be disinfected with a sanitizer to provide multiple touch sanitizing for up to 24-hours.  However, to encourage further sanitizing, please disinfect your chair prior to seating, or use when holding stairwell handrails.  Theatre doors will remain open for contactless entry or exit into the theatre.   

Bottled Water.  Our water fountains will be off-line; therefore, bottled water will be allowed into the theatre.  Bottled water will be available to purchase in the lobby.

**Flex Dates.  These are the preferred dates for this show.  If needed, we will adjust these dates to accommodate a late start to the semester, or early close of the fall semester.
  -  If the semester ends early, we will change our performance dates to October 1-4 (with 2 performances on 10/3) and October 10-11 with matinee shows on both dates. Area school performance on 10/8 or 10/9.

  -  If the semester starts late, we will change our performance dates to December 10-13 (with 2 performances each on Saturday and Sunday).  Area school performance on 12/11.

  -  Area School Performances are subject to MDH guidelines and subject to change.  For an invitation to the performance, please call (507) 537-7103.
