Purpose. Campus climate assessments are intended to support the efforts of the institution to create and sustain a diverse, respectful, inclusive community, and improve the working, living, and learning environment for students, faculty and staff.

Campus climate studies provide a baseline of data that helps the institution better understand how members of the campus community relate to one another on a daily basis, and allows the institution to determine what is working and what is not.
Participation.  Participation is voluntary and anonymous. There are no consequences for not completing the survey. Participants may skip any question. Participants who finish the survey will have the option to enter a drawing for prizes which will be held after the survey window closes. The entering your name in the drawing does not identify your survey responses; they remain anonymous.
Prizes include:
140 – SMSU Diversity Soccer Club jerseys
6 – $25 Barnes & Noble gift cards
8 – SMSU t-shirts
3 – Stanger Bobbleheads
3 – 50th Anniversary Coffee Table book: The Southwest Story as told by the Mustang Family
