This flexible scheduling was perfect for me as it allowed me to vary the amount of credits I took each semester. I would have struggled without that flexibility as I am a non-traditional student who is also a wife, mother of four, and worked full time while completing my degree. This program is designed to fit into your life, whether you want to be a full-time or part-time student.”

  • Join us in the Upper Conference Center as Dr. Jeremy Reed introduces the Admission Counselors and walks through the schedule for the day.

10:25 A.M.

Breakout Session #1

 Choose Between:

  • Tour SMSU with a current SMSU Student

  • Applying for Admission Presentation- Hear from our Admission Staff concerning applying to SMSU, scholarships, and campus life

  • FAFSA 101- Our Director of Financial Aid, Natasha Boe, will be reviewing changes and updates to this year’s FAFSA

11:00 A.M.

Breakout Session #2

Choose between:

  • Access Opportunity Success Presentation - Our Office of Diversity & Inclusion staff will present on services provided by their office including ways to save money.
  • Mock Lecture - Dr. Ben Walker - How Debate Can Bring Us Together

11:00 A.M. - 12:50 P.M. 

Lunch

  •  Enjoy lunch at our SMSU Social House on us!
