What is Minnesota State Week?

Minnesota State Week runs June 22–26, 2026. It’s a week when all 33 colleges and universities in the Minnesota State system invite you to visit and learn more. During the week, every Minnesota State college and university waives the undergraduate application fee. That means you can apply for free anytime from June 22 through June 26 in person during your campus visit or online. There’s no application essay required either, so it’s an easy way to get started and save a few dollars.

Individual Visits and Tours Tuesday through Friday, June 23–26

Can’t make it on Monday? Set up a visit that fits your schedule. You’ll tour campus with a current SMSU student and meet one-on-one with an Admission Counselor who can answer your questions. Plan on about 90 minutes.
