GIS Center

Located in SM208, the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Center is under the direction of the Provost. The Center was established in 1999, and houses a network of computers and related equipment to serve the GIS users, both public and private, in southwest Minnesota. The Center is available for use by students and faculty as part of regularly scheduled classes. Additionally, as a regional resource in southwest Minnesota, the Center is available for area residents as a source of data and to provide technical support through consultation, customized applications, and workshops.
