Alumni Love Stories
This February, the SMSU Alumni Association sent a valentine to our alumni couples. Did you know there are 1,256 alumni couples? Some of them met while going to college, some met later, but they are all Mustangs for Life! With the valentine greeting, we asked alumni to send their love stories to us. We were so thrilled with all the submissions; it was hard to choose one to publish in the printed magazine. But we did! Congratulations to Ron Cockriel ’82 for his submission. He won a SMSU snuggle blanket for sending the story of how he and his wife, Jeanne (Labissoniere) ’80 met while studying at Southwest.
