Developmental Disabilities Licensure
The Southwest Minnesota State University Developmental Disability courses are accessible in an on-line format. The program prepares you to work with students diagnosed with significantly below average intellectual functioning and deficits in adaptive behavior that affects educational performance. This program is only available to licensed Special Education ABS teachers.

Upon application to the program, transcripts will be reviewed and evaluated to ensure the Special Education Core courses and the required reading courses have been taken.
This program will facilitate the current needs of teachers seeking licensure or certification in the area of Developmental Disability.
