Human Resource Management Emphasis

The Human Resource Management emphasis provides students with the fundamental understanding and application of Human Resources best practices. Based on the SHRM competency model, the emphasis is designed to reinforce a variety of specific competencies, including but not limited to communication, relationship management, ethical business practices, HR expertise, business acumen, critical evaluation, global and cultural effectiveness, leadership and navigation, and consultation.
