Adobe Connect  

Adobe Connect allows users to create presentations, documents and multimedia, and share it with others. It offers web conferencing, online meetings, screen sharing, recording and editing tools, and is accessible on any device.

  • Log into Adobe Connect at
  • Your username and password are your StarID and StarID password
  • Access your account online or download the app from the website


Skype for Business

Skype for Business is among the Office 365 applications offered to SMSU students. The platform provides users with various collaborative features such as creating online audio and video meetings, screen sharing with other participants, and communicating directly on the platform or through other Office 365 applications.

  • Access your account on your desktop, or any other device using the mobile app.
  • Log in by providing your email address ( for students. or for faculty/staff), your username ( for students or for faculty/staff) and your starID password.


Other Tools


Kaltura is a professional platform for video recordings, meetings, secure and published sharing with its own cloud storage. Videos can be embedded into D2L.
