Photographer Rattman Exhibit to be Featured in William Whipple Gallery

Renowned New York photographer Jonno Rattman’s work will be featured Feb. 2-March 18 at the William Whipple Gallery, located in the McFarland Library at Southwest Minnesota State University.

An opening reception will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 2, with a talk by Rattman at 5:30 p.m.

Rattman’s work has appeared in publications including The New York Times, The New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, Matter Magazine and the Virginia Quarterly Review.

He is an assistant designer at Yolanda Cuomo Design, a book and exhibition design studio in New York City.

He studied photography, anthropology and art history, and earned a BFA degree from New York University in 2013.

The Whipple Gallery is open Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-11 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 pm.; Saturday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Sunday, 2-11 p.m.
