Description:

This event will feature select poetry from Bill Holm's oeuvre presented by distinguished colleagues and friends including renowned poet and SMSU Alumni Bart Sutter followed by the premiere of "Playing Haydn for the Angel of Death," A 15-part musical setting of the epic poem.

SMSU Alumni Ryan Hugh Ross will be there as the lyric baritone, Martha Helen Schmidt as the composer, and Dr. Daniel Rieppel as the pianist.
