Welcome to SMSU’s School of Agriculture, Culinology® and Hospitality Management (ACHM)—a vibrant community of students, faculty, and staff dedicated to exploring educational opportunities from farm to fork.
Our ACHM School offers diverse degree programs, hands-on field experiences, and internships that prepare you for success. Student organizations like the Ag Club, PAS Chapter, SHO Club, and Culinology® Club are among the most active and innovative on campus. We take pride in our faculty’s student-centered approach and open-door policy, ensuring you receive the guidance and support needed to complete your degree and launch a rewarding career.
The Science and Technology (ST) Building houses our full-time agriculture faculty and is located near the Agriculture Utilization Research Institute (AURI) and the Minnesota Agricultural and Rural Leadership (MARL) Program offices. You’ll also find the SMSU Greenhouse and specialized labs for Agronomy, Animal Science, and Sustainable Agriculture courses just steps away.
Our Culinology® and Hospitality Management programs are based in the Individualized Learning (IL) Building, home to SMSU’s state-of-the-art kitchens, labs, and restaurant facilities—everything you need for a world-class food and hospitality education.
