Registering for Summer Courses

How to get started:

Using the steps below, you can easily enroll in summer courses. First, select whether you're a Currently Enrolled SMSU Student or a Summer Session-Only Student.

Currently Enrolled SMSU Students

Summer Course Schedule

• Summer Course Schedule available for viewing on Thursday, October 6, 2025 
• Summer Course Registration Window opens Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 8:00 AM
• Register early to ensure you get the courses you need
• No advisor Registration Access code is required for summer registration
• 12 credit maximum
• Guaranteed Courses announced on May 11, 2026

Summer Session Only Students

Submit Part-time Admission Form

• 7 credit limit - visit Registration Office - IL 148 for registration in any additional credits
• Summer Course Registration Window opens Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 8:00 AM
• Register early to ensure you get the courses you need
• SMSU Financial Aid is only available to SMSU students who are fully admitted and degree-seeking. Contact the Financial Aid Office at your Home campus to see if you are eligible for Financial Aid from your Home campus.
