Information for Conference Attendees

The SMSU community and general public are invited and encouraged to attend this year’s conference, showcasing some of the excellent work done by SMSU students. This year’s conference will be primarily in-person, but will also have virtual options, with virtual presentations held live via Zoom. Presentations are grouped into discipline-specific sessions and held throughout the day. Presentation times for individual presenters will be available in the URC Program as well as the URC Abstract Booklet, linked above.

Presenter Information **Please note that late submissions of any kind will not be accepted. 

REGISTRATION & ABSTRACTS: for students participating, along with presenting, are due no later than Wednesday, November 12, 2025 (11:59 p.m. CST). **The Registration/Abstract form will open for submissions on October 27th, 2025.

PRESENTATIONS: Poster presentations must be submitted no later than Wednesday, November 19, 2025 (11:59 p.m. CST). This will allow adequate time for poster printing. Poster presentations should be saved, named appropriately (i.e., Student Name_Poster Title_Major), and submitted as a PowerPoint (preferred) or PDF file. **  Oral and Virtual presentations should submit PowerPoint files no later than Sunday, November 30th. **The Presentation form will open for submissions on November 14th, 2025.

LIBRARY RESEARCH AWARD: Students wishing to participate in the Library Research Award must submit application materials no later than Monday, November 24th.
