I would have struggled without that flexibility as I am a non-traditional student who is also a wife, mother of four, and worked full time while completing my degree. Southwest Scholars Day Schedule

Join us for a brief welcome by SMSU’s Provost, Dr. Ross Wastvedt

Location: Library and Student Center

Students are encouraged to arrive at their interview location about five minutes prior to their scheduled interview time. Please see your personal schedule for details. 

Personal schedule Auditions and critiques will take place in the Fine Arts Buildings. For directions, please stop by the Information Table in the Student Center. Please arrive at your audition location ten minutes prior to your scheduled time, unless you require additional warm-up time. Refer to your personal schedule for details. 

Sessions are open to all students and families. You may choose additional opportunities around your personal schedule. 

Location: Lower CC

Enjoy a delicious meal and hear remarks from a current President’s Scholar.

Location: Library and Student Center

This Student Club Fair is your opportunity to explore your interests and learn more about our extracurricular clubs on campus. This is not part of your interview. Relax, ask questions, and enjoy great conversation!
