M.S. Physical Education Coaching of Sport

About the Program

The Master of Science in Physical Education: Coaching of Sport is a FULLY ONLINE program that advances the knowledge, skills, and philosophies of students in the profession of coaching. Every course is guided by the National Association of Sport and Physical Education (NAPSE) coaching standards. Courses in the program are infused with project-based learning, and there are two practicum experiences included to document the application of the knowledge and skills learned. Throughout the program, students will develop a portfolio documenting the NASPE standards accomplished.

This Coaching Program consists of 34 graduate credits within 12 courses.

** Please note this program is not designed to meet requirements for teaching licensure in K-12.

Cost & Financial Aid

Program Requirements:

You are required to have a 2.5 GPA for admission into the program. If your GPA is under the requirement, you may still qualify for provisional admission through demonstrating your skills and abilities within your application. Provisional admission does require students to attain a 3.0 GPA in their first semester.
