Travel

For overnight lodging, hotel blocks have been reserved at AmericInn by Wyndham, Sleep Inn, and Quality Inn. Call to reserve your room with the SMSU rate by September 18 or see additional lodging options.

Marshall is located in southwestern Minnesota. From the following major airports: 90 miles northeast of Sioux Falls, SD; 150 miles west of Minneapolis, MN; 220 miles south of Fargo. Marshall is home to Marshall/Ryan Field (MML), which can accommodate charter aircraft.

President Jones officially began his duties on February 18, 2026, after serving as interim president starting July 1, 2025.
