MISSION STATEMENT
The Center for International Education (CIE) at Southwest Minnesota State University (SMSU) serves students from around the world and the wider community to promote international education and cross-cultural understanding.
- CIE provides advice, counseling, and advocacy regarding international student visas, academic issues and personal matters for international students.
- CIE serves the wider university community by supporting study abroad initiatives and promoting a campus environment conducive to international education and intercultural awareness via educational, social, and cross-cultural programming.
CIE OFFICE HOURS
Open Mondays to Fridays, 8:30am-4:30pm.
We are open for Phonecalls, Emails, and Document Pickup/Dropoffs only.
Virtual Adivsing Available - Mondays to Thursdays from 12noon-4:00pm by appointment (via Zoom).
Limited In-Person Contact. Please wear a mask.
