Machinal

By Sophie Treadwell

Apr. 15, 16 at 7:30 pm
Apr. 17 at 2 pm and 7:30 pm
Apr. 18 at 1 pm

Inspired by a 1920s true-crime murder, this classic expressionist drama still resonates today.
Machinal explores how a purposeless, mechanized life with no autonomy drives a woman
to desperate measures, and how cultural, economic, and legal factors ultimately shape her fate.
