Inclusive Spaces

Overview

Southwest Minnesota State University is committed to creating welcoming, accessible, and inclusive environments for all members of our community. Inclusive spaces support the diverse needs of students, faculty, staff, and visitors by providing areas that honor privacy, cultural and religious practices, caregiving responsibilities, and individual well‑being.

This page serves as a centralized resource for locating gender-neutral restrooms, lactation spaces, meditation and quiet rooms, reflection areas, and other inclusive facilities across our campuses. Our goal is to ensure that every community member can navigate campus with dignity, comfort, and confidence.

All-Gender Restrooms

All gender restrooms provide private, accessible facilities for anyone to use, regardless of gender identity or expression. All restrooms in this category are handicap accessible and support the comfort, safety, and dignity of all community members across campus—all-gender restrooms provide private, accessible facilities for anyone to use, regardless of gender identity or expression.
