If you scored a 540 or higher on your SAT's Evidence Based Reading & Writing section, you may be waived from taking English language placement tests upon arrival.

This category is specifically for individuals who are currently studying at a U.S. university on an F-1 visa. To be considered for admissions, applicants must have a Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.00 or higher.

Step 1 takes the longest because you must gather all the required documents and submit them before you can receive an admission decision.  You must submit all the required documents through your online Mustang Admission Portal (MAP).  Once your application is complete, your application can be reviewed and an official Admission decision can be made quickly.
